Son objectif est de former des journalistes, des blogueurs et des cr\u00e9ateurs de contenu pour qu'ils puissent lutter contre les #FakeNews, #Misinformation, #Disinformation en ligne, en #Factchecking des informations en ligne et hors ligne.\u00a0 Le programme vise \u00e0 cultiver les comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour cr\u00e9er une exp\u00e9rience en ligne saine et s\u00fbre pour tous les utilisateurs de m\u00e9dias sociaux, en faisant un lieu s\u00fbr vide d'id\u00e9es toxiques, de discours de haine, de d\u00e9sinformation et de fake news qui attisent les flammes de la violence. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, Civic Watch et defyhatenow ont form\u00e9 des stagiaires de diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions du Cameroun, \u00e0 savoir le Nord-Ouest et le Sud-Ouest, touch\u00e9s par le conflit anglophone, l'Ouest, le Centre et le Littoral, qui accueillent la plupart des personnes d\u00e9plac\u00e9es \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur du Cameroun.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette ann\u00e9e, nous nous sommes rendus dans la r\u00e9gion du Nord du Cameroun. L'Extr\u00eame-Nord a \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9 \u00e0 de violentes attaques de Boko Haram ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es et est \u00e9galement confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des conflits intertribaux. Nous avons donc vu la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de sensibiliser cette partie du pays. Nous avons vu la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de faire en sorte que les habitants de cette r\u00e9gion soient impliqu\u00e9s et fassent partie d'un #Cameroun qui n'est pas oubli\u00e9. Paul Joel Kamtchang.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Garoua hosted AFFCameroon for its first time and the training ran for two days, 28th and 29th of April 2022. 15 fellows were selected and they answered present to discover the new world they were about to embark on. These fellows were; 8 from Garoua, 5 from Ngaoundere and 2 Maroua. The trainer was Paul Joel Kamtchang who took them through; the world internet world, introduction to fact checking, methodology for writing Social Media Health Report (SMHR), working group on SMHR and meet up, fact checking reporting and fact checking topics. The first session was all about introduction, making them discover the fact checking world, identify fact checking topics, how to write fact checking reports and SMHR.<br>`After the first session, the fellows showed their delight and were more eager to discover the techniques and mechanisms of fact checking. Their training will run for three sessions, April, May and June.
